Amanda is a self taught artist.  She turned her hobby into a business in 2014 when she decided life was too short to not follow her true passion for painting.  Amanda draws much her inspiration from the rugged coastline and forests of Galloway as well as the stunning sunsets of the Solway Coast.  We are blessed in Dumfries and Galloway with fantastic forests and an amazing coastline, an artists dream for inspiration.  Amanda works mainly in acrylics though experiments often with watercolour and pastel.

Amanda's imaginative use of bold colours creates enchanting and thought provoking paintings of local scenery.
